Joan Jefferson, Director of the Florida Main Street Program, met with city officials and the Main Street Board to discuss how the Main Street Approach can be used to revitalize downtown Newberry. Newberry City Manager Keith Ashby, Mayor John Glanzer, and Main Street Manager Garry Clarke were among those on hand for the presentation. Later in the day, citizens stopped by the Newberry Municipal Building to learn more about the Main Street Approach and sign up for one of the program's five committees.
